Glade Shake n' Vac
PR strategy, creative and content for the 30th anniversary of Glade Shake n’ Vac, resulting in a silver Sabre Award. Despite this campaign being nearly ten years old, I have included it for the pure fun factor. To remind old users of Shake n’ Vac and bring the brand to a new generation on its 30th anniversary, the brand’s most well-known asset - the original TV advertisement - was remade by bringing together the original Shake n’ Vac lady Jenny Logan with X Factor twins Jedward. Jedward and Jenny Logan - aka Jenward - remixed the Shake n’ Vac jingle and recreated the original advertisement. Bespoke Blogger content, Twitter engagement, Reddit AMAs and media 121s resulted in 100,00 views on YouTube - huge at the time - 200 pieces of editorial, 160m OTS and 7% sales uplift. This content-driven campaign transformed the mundane into the miraculous and grabbed a Sabre Award in the process.
